Making DHS services work for everyone
DHS works to ensure that people with disabilities can use DHS websites and services as required by federal law, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. When DHS designs for accessibility, it creates better experiences for everyone.
DHS removes accessibility barriers, makes services easier to use, and ensures everyone can access the information they need. The removal of accessibility barriers improves efficiency and empowers the DHS workforce to solve problems and meet the agency’s mission goals as required by Section 508 standards and technical requirements.
