About sustainability at BCU
BCU is the
most sustainable university in Birmingham
and the
12th most sustainable university in the UK
. We have been awarded a 1st class ranking in the
People & Planet University League
25/26 and we are actively encouraging and integrating sustainable practices into the daily lives of our students and staff.
As an educational institution, we recognise our responsibility to not only educate our community about sustainable practices but also to lead by example through our own actions. By continuously reducing our environmental impact, we strive to foster a culture of sustainability that benefits both our campus and the broader community.
