The prestige of my degree in the private sector has been one of the main advantages of studying at UPA. Studying at UPA was an enriching experience, within a dynamic environment focused on entrepreneurship and internationalization. One of the greatest advantages was being able to study in Paraguay while learning from highly qualified international professors and having the opportunity to obtain a double degree.
UPA provided me with the tools needed to face the professional world, with a strong emphasis on strategy, management, and the development of soft skills, which are essential today. In addition, the education gave me a global perspective on business, allowing me to advise international companies—especially German ones—on their investments in Paraguay.
The relationship with professors was always excellent: approachable, supportive, and willing to offer constructive feedback. I would definitely recommend UPA, as it combines a solid academic foundation, a practical approach, and an international education, making it an excellent choice for those looking to start their own ventures or advance their professional careers in a globalized environment. Studying at UPA gave me significant advantages, such as the learning by doing approach, which allowed me to apply what I learned through assisted consulting projects with companies, and learning the German language, which internationalized my professional profile. In addition, holding an undergraduate degree valid in both Paraguay and the European Union, along with the endorsement of the Paraguayan Industrial Union, opened many doors for me.
UPA prepared me in both hard skills and soft skills, which has been key to my professional growth. The international training—including an internship in Germany—gave me a global perspective on business and proficiency in English and German, which I use daily in my work. The relationship with professors was pleasant and enriching, both with Paraguayan and international faculty, who remain available to collaborate even after graduation.
I have already recommended UPA to others, and many of them have had successful experiences similar to mine. As a young person from the interior of the country, I am grateful to UPA and to Bancop S.A., which awarded me a scholarship and gave me the opportunity to grow professionally. Today, after six years, I am Head of Finance at Bancop—an achievement that would not have been possible without the support of both institutions.
