This project will evaluate whether the presence of a protein, called Stim1, in blood immune cells modifies differently the immune response between a person with psoriasis, a person with a chronic inflammatory disease, and a healthy person. Stim1 is a protein which senses calcium changes inside cells and influences cells’ capacity to initiate and maintain inflammation.
