What Our Students Say
“I really like how I have the ability to go speak to my professors. They know me by
name. If I have a question, I don't have to be on a waitlist to go to their office
hours.”
Saron Araya (DO '27)
“The rural area and smaller class size make it feel more like a family. The support
from the community has been instrumental in shaping us into amazing future physicians.”
Derek George, DO '24
“Being particularly interested in providing for rural, underserved populations, I
chose to pursue osteopathic medicine based on the holistic approach this program endorses.”
Macy Rowan, DO '24
“PCOM South Georgia's commitment to fostering a tight-knit learning environment was
very appealing. The smaller class sizes ensure that we receive personalized attention
and support from faculty.”
Shahrzad Zamani, DO '25
“When I was looking for medical schools, I wanted something a little bit more personable,
and that's why PCOM South Georgia stuck out to me… Plus, it's really a state-of-the-art
facility with a lot of new features.”
Michael Abaskaron (DO '27)
“At PCOM South Georgia, I learned how to think fast, listen deeply, and work hard,
all while staying human… I leave PCOM ready not only to succeed in residency but to
contribute meaningfully to the teams I join and the patients I serve.”
Destiny Muccigrossi, DO '25
“For me, medicine isn't just treating symptoms and going to the doctor and getting
medication. The whole body approach is what I believe in fully … The DO approach fits
those same parameters.”
Elisha Crean (DO ’27)
“I chose the DO program because osteopathic medicine emphasizes treating the whole
person, not just the disease. That philosophy resonates with how I believe health
care should be delivered.”
Anthony Dove Jr., DO '25
“PCOM has prepared me well for clinical training by emphasizing both strong foundational
science and the humanistic side of medicine.”
Sydney Williams (DO '28)
