Travelling to Carmarthen
Our Carmarthen Campus is located just a short walk from the town centre.  A town encompassed in history and charm.  From the picturesque Carmarthen Castle to the serene River Towy, Carmarthen’s beauty will inspire you throughout your time here.
We understand that every journey is unique, and that’s why we’ve compiled comprehensive information on various transportation options to make your journey to our Carmarthen campus a breeze.
Parking
Carmarthen Campus introduced an Automatic Numberplate Recognition System in February 2023.
Parking on campus is free of charge for permit holders only, visitors can park on campus but must pay to park via one of the payment meters or the PayByPhone App on the signage available.

Open Days
If you are attending an open day, parking is available on our Carmarthen Campus car park.
Visitor Parking
Visitors to UWTSD must pay for parking unless pre-approved. All vehicles, whether pre-approved or not, must be registered upon arrival, and parking charges apply at Carmarthen and Lampeter, with specific enforcement hours and rates; any PCNs issued must be handled through Parking Eye.
