At Corewell Health in West Michigan, we remain at the forefront of medicine by providing educational excellence that fosters innovation.
Through our partnership with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Corewell Health in West Michigan offers 39 ACGME-accredited graduate medical education programs, in addition to eight fellowships where ACGME accreditation is not provided. These highly specialized training experiences support resident and fellow physicians striving to meet their individual medical training goals.
While the history of our program is deeply rooted in our medical community, what makes us uniquely special are the people. With more than 100 years of innovation and research, our residency and fellowship programs have, and continue to evolve. Diverse training opportunities in both urban and rural settings are available to residents and fellows, with access to Butterworth Hospital, Blodgett Hospital, Greenville Hospital, and Pennock Hospital, as well as West Michigan’s largest free-standing children’s hospital, Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
