Tuition Grant for GAC Alumni
Customized Tuition is not simply a discount or traditional financial aid. It’s a thoughtful approach that considers each family’s unique situation, including income, obligations, and family size, to determine a tuition rate that feels fair and manageable.
GAC wants families to focus on the benefits of the educational experience, academic growth, character development, and community, without being overshadowed by the cost.
Additional Value Highlights for why Customized Tuition is important to GAC:
Removes the barrier of “one-size-fits-all” pricing to make our programs accessible to more families while supporting GAC’s mission of educational excellence and long-term financial sustainability.
Encourages families to engage fully in all aspects of school life - academic, extracurricular, and spiritual - strengthening a partnership that is central to each child’s education.
Any Kindergarten to 12th grade family who has concerns about paying the standard tuition can apply for customized tuition. The graph below provides further context on income ranges connected to customized tuition.
Each family's circumstances are carefully reviewed by a committee to assess demonstrated need. Several factors are taken into account, including the family’s income, assets, debts, the number of students attending, and other relevant considerations.
New and returning families must submit the online customized tuition application to Tuition Data Services (TADS).
Applications open December 1. Customized tuition is awarded on a one-year basis. Returning families must reapply each year.

Review & Determination
A committee will review all materials confidentially. We apply a consistent methodology that examines household income, assets, number of children in tuition-paying schools, and other household responsibilities. Based on this assessment, we offer a grant amount that, when applied toward tuition costs, reflects what your family can reasonably contribute.
Notification & Agreement
You will receive a Customized Tuition decision along with your admissions (or re-enrollment) packet by April 4, 2026. Upon acceptance, you’ll sign an enrollment contract, pay a deposit to reserve your spot, and receive a personalized statement reflecting your adjusted tuition rate. (Please note: The contract will NOT reflect your adjusted tuition rate, it will only be reflected in the customized FACTS statement that is 10-14 days after enrollment.)
Annual Renewal Required
Because family circumstances frequently change, all participants must re-apply annually. The Customized Tuition program is subject to budgetary limits and availability of funds.

GAC cares deeply about building a multi-generational community pursuing academic excellence, connected by Christian faith and values. That is why we have taken steps to make affording a GAC education for your children within reach. This grant is designed to make it possible for the children of GAC graduates to follow in their parent’s Spartan footsteps.
The Alumni Tuition Grant funding has been significantly expanded to offer an automatic minimum 25% off of tuition* for ages infant-2nd grade (previously only infant-K2), with a continuing customized tuition grant for 3rd-12th grade.
*Also note: GAC alumni may qualify for greater than 25% off tuition through the Alumni Tuition Grant application.
