१. महस्विनी एका षाण्मासिकी विद्वत्समीक्षिता मूल्याङ्किता च शोधपत्रिका।
२. अस्याः प्रधानमुद्देश्यं संस्कृतज्ञेषु स्वोपज्ञानुसन्धानप्रवृत्तेरुद्बोधनं प्रोत्साहनं, विविधदृष्ट्याऽनुसन्धेयविषयाणां प्रकाशनं च।
३. अस्यां तिरुपतिस्थराष्ट्रियविश्वविद्यालयस्थानामन्येषां च विदुषां स्वोपज्ञविचारपूर्णा अनुसन्धानप्रधाननिबन्धाः प्रकाश्यन्ते।
४. अप्रकाशितानां दुर्लभानां प्राचीनाचार्यरचितानां लघुग्रन्थानां सम्पादन-भावानुवाद-टिप्पण्यादिपुरस्सरं प्रकाशनमप्यस्यां क्रियते।
५. अस्यां पत्रिकायां विशिष्टानां संस्कृतवाङ्मयसम्बद्धानां विविधासु भाषासु प्रणीतानां ग्रन्थानां समालोचना अपि प्रकाश्यन्ते। तदर्थं द्वे प्रकाशितप्रतिकृती प्रेषयितव्ये। आलोच्यग्रन्थस्य समालोचना यस्मिन्नङ्के प्रकाशिता सोऽप्यङ्को ग्रन्थकर्त्रे निःशुक्लं दीयते।
६. पत्रिकासम्बन्धी सर्वविधः पत्रव्यवहारः
सम्पादकः, महस्विनी-शोधपत्रिका, विभागाक्ष्यक्षः, अनुसन्धानप्रकाशनविभागः,
राष्ट्रियसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयः, तिरुपतिः – ५१७५०७, आन्ध्रप्रदेशः
इति सङ्केतेन विधेयः।
About ‘Mahasvinī’
1. ‘Mahasvinī’ is a half yearly Sanskrit Peer-reviewed and Refereed Research Journal.
2. The main objective of the journal is to encourage and promote research aptitude of Sanskrit scholars, through publication of original contributions to various aspects of Sanskrit literature.
3. The journal publishes original research articles of scholars of University as well as outside scholars.
4. Rare unpublished works of earlier scholars which are available only in manuscript form, that are edited with notes, translation etc. usually of smaller extent, are also undertaken for publication in the journal.
5. Reviews of books related to Sanskrit, composed in different languages are undertaken in Mahasvinī. For this purpose, 2 copies of the book may be sent to the editor of Mahasvinī. One copy of the journal where the review is published will be provided to the author of the book.
6. Queries regarding the journal may be directed to the Editor, Mahasvinī, HoD, Department of Research & Publications, National Sanskrit University, Tirupati.

इति शोधपत्रिका प्रकाश्यते। इयं पत्रिका संस्कृतविद्वन्मण्डल्यां सुप्रसिद्धा विद्यते । अस्यां पत्रिकायां मौलिकशोधलेखानां प्रकाशनाय प्रार्थना क्रियते । शोधलेखसंरचनाय अधः लिखिताः नियमाः अनुसर्तव्याः भवन्ति ।
शोधलेखः संस्कृत/आङ्ग्ल/उभयभाषायां वा भवितुमर्हति ।
शोधलेखः सर्वथा मौलिकः स्यात् ।
शोधलेखस्य सारः दशवाक्येषु लेखस्य प्रारम्भे संयोजनीयः ।
शोधलेखे दीयमानाः श्लोकाः देवनागरीलिप्यां सामान्याकाराः (Normal mode) स्युः ।
शोधलेखे उपयुज्यमानाः सन्दर्भाः पुटस्य अधभागे, तत्सूची च अकारादिक्रमेण लेखस्यान्तिमभागे योजनीयाः ।
शोधलेखः दशपुटाभ्यन्तरे स्यात् ।
टङ्कणे उपयुज्यमानः वर्णलेखाकारः – देवनागरी Sanskrit Font Unicode आकारः 13 point, आङ्ग्ले/Diacritic निमित्तंTimes New Roman 12 pointउपयुक्तः स्यात् ।
स्वस्य पत्राचारस्तथा स्थायी सङ्केतः च लेखस्यान्तिमे दातव्यौ ।
शोधलेखः समपुटात्मकः (2,4,6,8) स्यात्।
शेधलेखस्य पुटसज्जा :Page Layout : A4 size, Margins : Top 6 cm, Bottom 7 cm, Left/Right 4.25 cm, Header : 6 cm, Footer: 5.5 cm.अनुच्छेदयोः मध्ये अन्तरं ६ पोएण्ट स्यात्। वाक्येषु अन्तरं स्वतः स्यात्।

Instruction to Authors
The research paper should be complete and must contain with an abstract of 50 words highlighting the new findings and contents of the paper.
Language of the Paper: Sanskrit/English/both.
Paper style: Paper should be contained with introduction, subheadings and conclusion. Subject should be supported with original texts. Each section/paragraph should be linked with each other.
References should appear in bottom of page, with items referred to indicated by numerals. Titles of journals should not be abbreviated.
Quotations/
shlokas
within the text or in the reference may be in Devanagari in normal type. For diacritic Times New Roman in 12font size is recommended.
Figures and tales should be given in JPEG/TIF format.
Bibliography:
Bibliography should be given in alphabetic order.
For Books: Title of the book followed by author(s), location, publisher, chapter, page number(s), edition, year.
For Periodicals: Title, author(s), periodical, volume, inclusive page numbers.
For website: A full URL should be given with reference date.
1. Font(s): For Devanagari Sanskrit Text Unicode font in 13 size and for English 12 point font size in Times New Roman are recommended.
2. Page-setting dimensions : Paper should be page-setted in MS Office. Page Layout : A4 size, Margins : Top 6 cm, Bottom 7 cm, Left/Right 4.25 cm, Header : 6 cm, Footer: 5.5 cm. Leading should remain auto. Spacing between para 6 pt is recommended. Paper should be ended in even page only viz. 4,6,8.

इति शोधपत्रिका प्रकाश्यते। इयं पत्रिका संस्कृतविद्वन्मण्डल्यां सुप्रसिद्धा विद्यते । अस्यां पत्रिकायां मौलिकशोधलेखानां प्रकाशनाय प्रार्थना क्रियते । शोधलेखसंरचनाय अधः लिखिताः नियमाः अनुसर्तव्याः भवन्ति ।
शोधलेखः संस्कृत/आङ्ग्ल/उभयभाषायां वा भवितुमर्हति ।
शोधलेखः सर्वथा मौलिकः स्यात् ।
शोधलेखस्य सारः दशवाक्येषु लेखस्य प्रारम्भे संयोजनीयः ।
शोधलेखे दीयमानाः श्लोकाः देवनागरीलिप्यां सामान्याकाराः (Normal mode) स्युः ।
शोधलेखे उपयुज्यमानाः सन्दर्भाः पुटस्य अधभागे, तत्सूची च अकारादिक्रमेण लेखस्यान्तिमभागे योजनीयाः ।
शोधलेखः दशपुटाभ्यन्तरे स्यात् ।
टङ्कणे उपयुज्यमानः वर्णलेखाकारः – देवनागरी Sanskrit Font Unicode आकारः 13 point, आङ्ग्ले/Diacritic निमित्तंTimes New Roman 12 pointउपयुक्तः स्यात् ।
स्वस्य पत्राचारस्तथा स्थायी सङ्केतः च लेखस्यान्तिमे दातव्यौ ।
शोधलेखः समपुटात्मकः (2,4,6,8) स्यात्।
शेधलेखस्य पुटसज्जा :Page Layout : A4 size, Margins : Top 6 cm, Bottom 7 cm, Left/Right 4.25 cm, Header : 6 cm, Footer: 5.5 cm.अनुच्छेदयोः मध्ये अन्तरं ६ पोएण्ट स्यात्। वाक्येषु अन्तरं स्वतः स्यात्।

Instruction to Authors
The research paper should be complete and must contain with an abstract of 50 words highlighting the new findings and contents of the paper.
Language of the Paper: Sanskrit/English/both.
Paper style: Paper should be contained with introduction, subheadings and conclusion. Subject should be supported with original texts. Each section/paragraph should be linked with each other.
References should appear in bottom of page, with items referred to indicated by numerals. Titles of journals should not be abbreviated.
Quotations/
shlokas
within the text or in the reference may be in Devanagari in normal type. For diacritic Times New Roman in 12font size is recommended.
Figures and tales should be given in JPEG/TIF format.
Bibliography:
Bibliography should be given in alphabetic order.
For Books: Title of the book followed by author(s), location, publisher, chapter, page number(s), edition, year.
For Periodicals: Title, author(s), periodical, volume, inclusive page numbers.
For website: A full URL should be given with reference date.
1. Font(s): For Devanagari Sanskrit Text Unicode font in 13 size and for English 12 point font size in Times New Roman are recommended.
2. Page-setting dimensions : Paper should be page-setted in MS Office. Page Layout : A4 size, Margins : Top 6 cm, Bottom 7 cm, Left/Right 4.25 cm, Header : 6 cm, Footer: 5.5 cm. Leading should remain auto. Spacing between para 6 pt is recommended. Paper should be ended in even page only viz. 4,6,8.
