We are a hospital-based rural health clinic, accepting walk-ins 7 days a week!
It may not be an emergency, but when you (or a child over the age of six months) need help with a minor medical problem, Coffee Regional First Care is here to help. Patients are treated on a first-come, first-served basis with minimal wait times, and you can walk right in. No appointment is needed; however, for your convenience, we accept appointments through an online platform and allow patients to wait in their vehicles or the comfort of their homes until their appointment time. Our clinic is located next to Starbucks & Jersey Mike’s at 1301 S. Peterson Ave, Suite B, Douglas, Ga.
We are open 7 days a week 7:30 am – 7:30 pm.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
Staff
The Medical Director at the Walk-In Clinic is Mark Brulte, MD, an emergency medicine physician who also heads the Emergency Department at CRMC. Other clinical staff includes physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and licensed nurses.
Payment
We accept many health plans, cash, personal checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. As a hospital-based rural health clinic, it’s important for patients to understand their insurance coverage and coinsurance responsibilities.
Services
Services provided are similar to those provided by a primary care office. Some of the conditions often seen at Coffee Regional First Care include:
Rashes and insect bites
Coughs, colds, flu, sore throat
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
Allergies, allergy injections, mild asthma
Earaches, toothaches
Minor eye irritations
Minor wound infections and burns
Urinary tract infections
Constipation, hemorrhoids
STDs
Sprains, strains, cuts, bruises (we offer basic x-ray)
School, sports and employment physicals
Suture removal
We do not see patients having post-op complications. If you are experiencing post-op complications, call your physician or visit your nearest ER.
Hours
OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, 7:30 am – 7:30 pm
You don’t need to call first, but feel free to call us or come to our front window if you want advice about whether the clinic is the appropriate place for care.
