Procurement Department
CapMetro intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Cap-A-Bus, Inc., to provide the storage and routine upkeep maintenance of battery electric buses, for a variable fleet size.  In order to preserve the long-term mechanical and electrical integrity of the buses — and in particular the high-voltage battery systems — the buses are subject to routine monitoring, operation, and recharging.  The storage facility shall be lighted, fenced, and constructed or surfaced in a manner sufficient to bear the operational weight of the buses under all weather conditions.  Cap-A-Bus, Inc. is the only company with experience, an appropriate facility and trained personnel to provide the services which require specialized operator knowledge of CapMetro’s three distinct bus configurations.
This will be an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract.
This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals however, all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit an unsolicited proposal which shall be considered. If no responses are received by
