About the Multicultural Life and Diversity Office (MLDO)
The MLDO Office is a part of the Student Affairs division at SUNY Cortland. We serve all students, as every member of our community is a part of our diversity. We support the Voice Office student clubs, collaborate and sponsor cultural and intercultural speakers, events, activities and workshops, and provide training and guidance to students, faculty and staff on issues of equity and inclusion. We work collaboratively with many campus constituents, including other folks in Student Affairs like Res Life, Campus Activities, as well as student groups and academic departments.
Our mission is to
foster a living, learning and working environment that encourages all members of the SUNY Cortland campus to engage in promoting dialogue, collaboration, and community building around the intersections of personal and social identities.
