Volunteer - French International School of Oregon
Volunteer
Volunteer Requirement
Each French International family is required to volunteer 20 hours per year. Volunteer hours can be tracked through the Volunteer Log. Hours not completed will be charged at a rate of $25/hr at the end of each school year.
Volunteer support allows French International to keep administrative expenses low while maintaining the events and opportunities that make our school special. Events like Fête du Vin and the Annual Gala can not exist without the efforts of our volunteers.
Volunteering involves the entire family in a student's educational life. Service is a part of our IB educational philosophy as we teach students that we have a shared responsibility to our connected global community and that meaningful action can make a difference. Thank you for helping us model responsible, service-oriented behavior.
Many companies will match your volunteer hours with donations to the school, allowing your time to have an even greater impact. See if your employer offers a grant below!

"What I enjoy most about my role as a volunteer is getting to know the other parents and feeling like I truly belong in the community. It's rewarding to see how our efforts positively impact the school, and I love being part of something that helps make a difference." -Maarit Rowe, French International Parent
