Arts Alliance - Pace Academy
Welcome to The Pace Arts Alliance!
The Pace Arts Alliance (PAA) supports the visual and performing arts programs at Pace Academy by encouraging interest in the arts and raising funds for arts-related student experiences. Resources received from memberships and generous donations are distributed across the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools to augment existing offerings and fund exceptional student and faculty engagement opportunities in the visual, musical and performing arts.
Pace Arts Alliance sponsors a broad range of student experiences including annual events, visiting artists and faculty requests. Recent highlights include:
Music director Ian Weinberger of Broadway’s award-winning “Hamilton” visiting the Middle and Upper School performing arts classes for interactive workshops
Graphic designer Jessica Newfield visiting the Middle School Studio Art classes and doing workshops to create personalized logos and digitizing them into vector art
Middle School Chorus and Strings experience at the Grand Majestic Workshop and Interactive Dinner Theatre during their trip to Pigeon Forge
Bringing Georgia Ensemble's production of "And Then They Came For Me (The Story of Anne Frank)" to the Pace Middle School
Special guests, including Wowie Zowie performing for the Lower School, and supplies for an amazing Spring Arts Week
Lower School KnightStars performing at an Atlanta Hawks Game
Presenting Knight of Jazz featuring Middle and Upper School Band and Chorus students
ThesCon admission for Upper School students who have won Overall Superior, Overall Excellent and Highest Distinction ratings
Entrance fees for Upper School visual arts students who have won numerous Scholastic Art Awards as well as students selected for the National K-12 Ceramics Exhibition
A celebration honoring students in Advanced Studio Art
Lower School grade-level plays
