GUIDED TOUR
Engage your class with a bespoke tour
Secondary level guided tours can be provided and adjusted to your topic of study.
Learners will visit the key areas of the site and be encouraged to think critically about
the interpretation of history and how social issues impacted those in the past.
Example topics of study include: The Story of New Lanark and Robert Owen, History: Textile Factories (Changing Britain Unit), Textile Manufacture in the Present
Day.
Level: S1-5
Length: 1 hour.

Self-led visits are a flexible and fun way to explore New Lanark. Our team can
