Dr. Jon Santiago Announced as 2026 Commencement Speaker
Dr. Jon Santiago, an emergency management physician whose career spans public service, healthcare, and the military, will serve as Commencement Speaker at Curry College’s 2026 Commencement on May 17 on the Curry College campus in Milton, Mass. Dr. Santiago will also receive an honorary degree.
Curry College Launches Associate of Science in Nursing Program
Building on its legacy of educating Massachusetts’ top nurses for 50 years, the Curry College School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) is proud to announce the launch of the Associate of Science in Nursing Program. The College will now welcome students looking to pursue their Associate of Science in Nursing degree via ASN and LPN-RN pathways beginning in the fall of 2026.

Labouré College of Healthcare and Curry College have reached an agreement to transition Labouré’s nursing programs to Curry’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences and to establish the Labouré Center for Advancing Healthcare Opportunity at Curry College.
Curry College Receives $165,000 Grant to Launch Employment Transition Program for Neurodivergent Young Adults
The Curry College Neurodiversity Center for Excellence received a $165,000 grant to launch an employment transition program designed for neurodivergent job seekers. The initiative focuses on building executive function skills, workplace readiness, and inclusive employer partnerships to improve employment outcomes for individuals with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences.
Dr. Shavindrie (Shavi) Cooray’s Research on Human-Centered Machine Learning Published in Prestigious Journal
Dr. Shavi Cooray, professor, School of Business and Technology, recently published a research article in the Journal of Computer Information Systems that examines how artificial intelligence systems can be designed with greater input from the people who use them.
Curry College Awarded $2.3 Million Federal Grant to Launch Inclusive Transition Program
Curry College’s Neurodiversity Center for Excellence has received a five-year, $2.3 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education to establish Curry Compass, a new transition program for students with intellectual disabilities. The highly competitive TPSID grant positions Curry as the first institution in Massachusetts to receive this funding.
Chanelle Calderon ’27 Named Curry College’s First Gilman Scholar
Chanelle Calderon has been named Curry College’s first recipient of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. The nationally competitive award supports her upcoming study abroad experience in Dublin, Ireland, where she will participate in the Psychology: Global Perspectives program.
