The mission of the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is to pursue justice by providing premiere investigative services, building trusting relationships with its law enforcement partners, and meeting criminal investigative needs with excellence. This Division is composed of the Major Crimes Unit and the Special Victims Unit.
The CID is divided into ALEA's seven geographical regions. Every region contains agents from each of the different units within CID ensuring that SBI's law enforcement partners can access SBI resources in a timely and efficient manner.
