For graduates only! Students will join their classmates to kick off Commencement Weekend. Enjoy arcade games, dinner from Kyle's Kitchen, Rori's Ice cream, Photo booths, a Caricature Artist, and raffle prizes.
Cap & Gown Package Pick Up - Wed-Fri May 6-8 (10-3p.m.) on the Presidents Patio
For graduates only! Stop by the Presidents Patio to pick up your ordered Cap and Gowns as well as your commencement packets with your tickets and parking passes for commencement.
Legacy Pinning and Picture with the President on the Presidents Patio- Saturday, May 9, 2026 (7:45am)
For Legacy graduates. Westmont alumni parents will be provided with a "Legacy Pin" to pin to their graduate's stole. The pin is a gift from the alumni office. Alumni and their graduates are then invited to be in the group photo. This event is exclusively for alumni, free, and no registration is required.

Alumnus of the Year: Rob Ring '90
Dr. Robert Ring (’90) is the Chief Executive Officer of London-based Kaerus Bioscience, a biotech company focused on developing medicines for individuals with rare genetic syndromes of neurodevelopment that cause intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and epilepsy.
Alumna of the Year: Alexis Bennett (Otterlei) '05
Alexis Bennett, MSW, LICSW is a compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from St. Catherine University (2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Westmont College (2005).
Alumna of the Year: Leah Pillsbury (Otterlei) '00
Leah Pillsbury, MSW, LICSW
, is a compassionate therapist with over 22 years of experience. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California (2003) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Westmont College (2005).
Global Service Award: Lindsey Connolly '08
Since graduating Westmont in 2008 Lindsey has been pursuing endeavors both abroad and close to home in Santa Barbara. She co-founded the non-profit Destined for Grac – Children’s Relief.
Young Alumnus of the Year: Spencer Dusebout '15
At 16, Spencer co-founded Hands4Others (H4O), turning a back-of-the-napkin idea into a movement that brought clean water to more than 250,000 people in 17 countries. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for using technology to solve big, meaningful problems.
