ALUMNI PARTICIPATION MATTERS
Join us in supporting Oakwood's mission. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Your contribution as alumni carries special significance. By giving back, you:
Honor your own Oakwood journey
Create opportunities for the next generation of students
Ensure access to academic, social, artistic, and athletic programs regardless of financial means
The Impact of Every Gift
At Oakwood, we believe in the power of collective support. Your participation matters more than the size of your gift. Here's why:
STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
When alumni come together, even modest gifts create transformative change. Your participation:
Compounds Impact: Small gifts add up to make a significant difference
Demonstrates Value: Strong alumni participation shows the lasting impact of an Oakwood education
Creates Stability: A broad donor base ensures sustainable support for future generations
Builds Legacy: Early and consistent giving often leads to lifelong partnership
Attracts Support: High alumni participation encourages additional investment from major donors, corporations, and foundations
Your Role in Oakwood's Future
By participating in the Annual Fund, you help ensure that Oakwood remains a place where:
Every student can access exceptional opportunities
Our community thrives through shared commitment
Future generations benefit from the same excellent education you received

Alumni Giving
Oakwood holds a special place in the hearts of all who have walked its campuses and studied in its buildings. Whether your memories return to your favorite class, a mentoring teacher, your volunteer experiences, or the lifelong friendships that began here, the common threads among Oakwood Alumni and their families are the life-changing experiences had by students. We are so grateful for your continued support and thank you in advance for your generosity!
Make a gift to Oakwood today!
LEARNED
If you haven't had a chance to listen to Learned the podcast, you can catch up on
all episodes HERE
! On Learned, we're looking beyond test scores and college acceptance rates to understand how education can shape the future of our society—and what kind of teaching we need to bring us there.
Oakwood alum Tristan Friedberg Rodman '11, Director of Co-Curricular Programs Ivan Johnson, and Director of Alumni Relations Christie Guevara had candid conversations with educators, parents, and alumni about the educational issues that matter most to them. The episodes in Season 1 spans a wide range of topics — from creativity to entrepreneurship, social justice to mental health, technological change to equity and inclusion at private schools.
