DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From the West
Approach the Museum on I-74 going east (stay in 3rd lane; do NOT exit Rt 40 South),
Take I-74 Exit 93 Washington St,
Enter the right lane, turn right on Washington,
Go one block, turn left on Main, right on Water.
Entrance to Museum parking garage is on Water between Main and Liberty.
From the North
Going south on University or south on Knoxville,
Get on I-74 East (towards Bloomington-Normal),
Exit Washington Street as from the West (above),
Go one block, turn left on Main, right on Water.
Entrance to the Museum parking garage is on Water between Main and Liberty.
From the East on I-74
Crossing the Illinois River on the Michel Bridge
Exit I-74 at Exit 94 “Downtown via Michel Bridge,”
Follow 40 N to “Downtown Peoria” across bridge,
Turn right on Adams, go one block, right on Harrison, left on Water,
Entrance to the Museum parking garage is on Water between Main and Liberty.

Crossing the Illinois River on the I-74 Murray Baker Bridge
Stay on I-74 across the river and take the first exit – Exit 93 to “Downtown,”
Go straight through the first light to Jefferson,
Turn left on Jefferson, proceed through the downtown to Liberty,
Turn left on Liberty, go 3 blocks, then left on Water,
Entrance to the Museum parking garage is on Water between Main and Liberty.
From the South on Illinois 29 (from Pekin and Creve Coeur)
Cross the Illinois River on the Cedar Street Bridge, follow Rt 8 West (follow airport sign),
Turn right on Washington immediately after crossing the bridge. Drive toward Downtown about one mile and go right on Liberty,
Entrance to the Museum parking garage is on Water between Main and Liberty.
From the South on Washington St.

From the East on Illinois Route 116 (Cat Trail)
Get on I-74 west, follow directions for “From the East on I-74” (above).
