We would be delighted to arrange a
personal visit
on a normal school day or you are welcome to come to an
Open Event
At a
personal visit
you will have an opportunity to meet the Headmaster, and have a tour of our extensive grounds and facilities. It is a great chance to see the School in action. The Admissions Team will be available at the end of your tour to answer any questions you may have.
On an
Open Morning
, your tour will be conducted by our fantastic pupils who will show you our outstanding facilities. In addition, you will be able to spend time in areas of particular interest talking to the subject specialists. The Senior Leadership and Admissions Teams will be available to speak to you throughout the morning at the end of your tour.
Open Morning Dates
We recommend that you register your child for a place at the School in September of the year before joining, however, you are welcome to apply at any point. Complete the
registration form
and submit it with the fee of £60 to register your interest.
Once we have received your registration form, we will be in touch with more information regarding the next stage of the process.

Your child will be invited to spend the day with future classmates, and experience what a typical day at RGS Worcester has to offer.
Step Four:
References
We apply for a reference from your child’s school before offering a place.
This helps us gain valuable insights into their academic progress, character, and suitability for our School community. We treat this information confidentially and use it to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Step Five:
Entrance Examinations and Scholarship Assessments
Entrance Examinations and Scholarship Assessments typically take place in November and December of the year prior to your child’s start date – please see
important dates
. Samples of our entrance assessments are sent to you prior to the Entrance Examination.

Offer
Offers of places are made following the assessments. To accept our offer, submit the acceptance form along with a deposit of £120 to secure your place.

Applications for September 2026 entry are currently being encouraged on a rolling basis. Although the primary deadline has now passed, we welcome further applications and prospective families are invited to apply as soon as possible.
