After-School CARE
A low-stress environment for students to learn and

perhaps even more importantly

play!
Grounded in both academic support and enrichment programming, our after-school CARE program includes students from Kindergarten through 8th grade and serves as a fluid extension of our students' regular school day. CARE, or Creative After-School Recreational Enrichment, provides a low-stress environment for students to learn and—perhaps even more importantly—play!
After-school CARE includes of supervised playtime, quiet homework periods, and enrichment programming. CARE counselors meet children at dismissal outside of their classrooms at 2:50PM and escort them the PE building and adjacent Francisco Field. Parents are able to register their child for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week or on a drop-in, as-need basis. CARE runs each day from dismissal at 2:50PM until final pick-up at 5:30PM. We also offer CARE on all teacher workdays and scheduled half-days unless otherwise noted.

Creative Afterschool Recreational Enrichment (or "CARE" for short) is an afterschool program available to all Kindergarten through 8th grade students that provides a communal space for supervised playtime, quiet homework periods, and enrichment programming. Registration is available for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week or on a drop-in, as-need basis. CARE runs each day from dismissal at 2:50PM until final pick-up at 5:30PM. We also offer CARE on all teacher workdays and scheduled half-days unless otherwise noted.

A recent addition to our after-school CARE program is a partnership with LEGO Education and the inclusion of themed brick-building kits. Each LEGO set includes lesson plans that incorporate hands-on learning, problem solving, and creative thinking with age-appropriate design and team challenges. Our CARE counselors incorporate each kit as part of a larger STEAM enrichment schedule.

Cost depends on whether students are registered for a set number of days per week or utilized on an as-needed basis.Prices shown below are for an 12-week trimester term.

After-school CARE
is a daily service available to all Kindergarten through 8th grade students.
After-school clubs
typically only meet once a week for an hour at a time, are theme- or topic-based, and have designated age ranges for registration. Students are welcome to register for an after-school club and then return to CARE until final pick-up at 5:30PM. This year's first trimester after-school club offerings include:
