La Nube strives to be a beacon of equity, inclusivity, and accessibility for all! From non-hierarchical bilingual signage to topographical maps for the visually impaired, and being a nut-free environment, we prioritize our community’s needs. Sensory kit backpacks
Our Sensory Kit backpacks are designed to support the sensory needs of both adults and children. They’re filled with items to help reduce sensory overload and keep you engaged. You can check out Sensory Kit backpacks and noise-canceling headphones for free on the first floor. Just bring your ID!
Sensory-friendly hours
We’re dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests! During our Sensory-Friendly Lighting Hours, the museum will feature softer lighting, reduced brightness, and a more calming atmosphere—perfect for those with sensory sensitivities.

Sensory cozy corners
Take a break in our sensory cozy corners located throughout the center to help reduce over stimulation.
Wheelchair accessibility
Our entire building is ADA wheelchair accessible, including our 4-story Anything’s Possible Climber, which features a wheelchair obstacle course for an accessible adventure.
Free early childhood development programming
Enjoy free weekly programs in Desert Bloom, Follow Your Instincts, and more.
Nursing rooms
We have two nursing rooms located on Floor 3 in the hallway near the entrance to Desert Bloom.
Donor-supported scholarships
Scholarships for STEAM Saturday, Intersession, and Summer Camps are available thanks to our generous donors.
Donor-supported, reduced-price memberships
Families with financial need can access reduced-price memberships, thanks to our donors.
Other Services
Caregiver Pass
Families who require a nurse or home health aide to assist a child during their visit to La Nube can request a Caregiver Pass. Only Licensed Medical Professionals are eligible to receive this pass. The Caregiver Pass ensures that the caregiver can accompany the child and provide necessary support throughout their visit. To request a Caregiver Pass, please call 915-259-8199 or email

Accessible Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located on all floors, including family (unisex) restrooms available for those individuals’ requiring assistance from a family member or companion.
Service Animals
People with service dogs will be allowed full access to all areas. Service dogs must be on a leash and in the control of the person with a disability or his/her companion. Pets are not allowed.
