Concussion Management Team
Concussion Management Program
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there are more than 3.8 million concussions per year, many of which don't receive proper initial care and treatment.
At UI Health's Concussion Management Program, our team knows that concussions can have long-term effects if not treated properly.
Concussions can happen to anyone at any time — whether from sports, a car accident, or from a fall. If you or a loved one have experienced a concussion, receiving the proper treatment is an important part of a safe and healthy recovery.

The Concussion Management Program (CMP) at UI Health brings together an experienced team of clinicians from
Physical Therapy
Neurology & Neurosurgery
Neuropsychology
Neuropsychiatry
Radiology
, and
Ophthalmology
to treat the myriad symptoms that can emerge after traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Utilizing state-of-art testing techniques along with research-informed treatment methods, the CMP Team develops individually tailored treatment protocols designed for the unique circumstances of every patient's needs.
If you think you've had a concussion, seek medical care to ensure you've fully recovered before returning to physical activities.
Repeated trauma can make a concussion and recovery worse.
