As part of the British Science Week celebrations, Animal Experience was invited to deliver a hands-on session for our top Science Sparx leaderboard students. The event was organised as a reward for their consistent homework completion and for taking part in independent learning challenges.
During the workshop, students met a variety of animals including a chinchilla, bearded dragon, sugar glider, meerkat, blue-tongued skink, tenrec, milk snake, and royal python. The presenter explained the background of each animal and where they originate from.
Students also had the opportunity to hold and gently touch the animals, and some even chose to have snakes placed around their necks, making the experience both memorable and educational.
