The Department of Physiotherapy at Maharishi Arvind University is dedicated to preparing skilled professionals in public health, sanitation, and community healthcare. Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy is the science of cure, prevent and rehabilitation of the physically challenged and disabled people.
Physiotherapists are better able to help patients regain mobility, as they have a better understanding of how the body works and are trained in clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat disabilities. Physiotherapists can help patients recover from injuries and disabilities like back pain, neck pain, knees pain, ligament injuries, Spiral injuries etc.
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Course is an undergraduate academic Course in a field of Medical Science known as Physiotherapy. The duration of the BPT course is 4 1/2 years including an internship of 6 months. Physical Therapy Programs provide core skills like manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and the application of electro physical modalities, to the prospective students.
Master in Physiotherapy
is a 2-year full-time program, imparted using a variety of teaching/ learning techniques, including lectures, case discussions, practical exercises, lab work, field visits, seminars, journal clubs, collaborative learning, group discussions, assignments, hands-on training, internship, and dissertation.

10+2 (PCB)- minimum 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC) or equivalent, subject to qualifying MAUET.
