Athletics and Recreation
Home of the Bears
Bridgewater State University welcomes student athletes to compete in our 10 men's and 12 women's NCAA Division III sports teams. Our student athletes play for the love of the game and commitment to their sport. They perform successfully in the classroom as well as on the playing field, court, track and in the pool.
We offer intramural recreation, club sports and the state of the art Thornburg Fitness Center located in the Adrian Tinsley Center.
Fitness center membership is free for all BSU students.

outdoor Fitness Court
, located in University Park. The Fitness Court was built with the generous support of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts and in partnership with National Fitness Campaign.
The Fitness Court provides a full body workout through seven circuit training stations. Download the
