What does NCI-designation mean?
NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers provide the depth and breadth
of cancer research and patient care that is necessary to treat simple,
complex and rate forms of cancer. Through our partnership with Rutgers
Cancer Institute, patients have access to clinical trials not available
elsewhere.
The prestigious Comprehensive Cancer Center NCI designation, held by only
an elite group of such centers across the nation, is granted competitively
to institutions characterized by the highest level of scientific excellence
in cancer research and the ability to translate scientific discoveries
into novel treatments. NCI Comprehensive Cancer Centers also have a responsibility
to educate the public and health care professionals and provide outreach
to underserved populations.

As an option, providers at our facilities are available for telemedicine
