Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting
VA received its sixth consecutive Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting (CEAR) from the
Association of Government Accountants
(AGA) for the FY 2024 AFR and another a Best-in-Class award for an excellent presentation of performance in an AFR! The AGA noted that “overall, the agency provides an effective presentation of the fiscal year’s performance. It clearly identifies the agency’s strategic goals and objectives and provides clear and concise information”. This accolade represents the highest honor in federal government financial reporting.
