Hillsboro Medical Center, an OHSU Health partner, has expanded as a teaching hospital with the addition of
Family Medicine
Internal Medicine
and
Transitional Year
residency programs.
The goal of the residency program is to offer medical students from around the U.S. an opportunity to train in a community practice and provide a highly competitive educational opportunity that will also benefit the Hillsboro community.
The first group of full-time residents arrived in July 2021. We also have OHSU residents rotating at the hospital and outpatient clinics.
Today, we have approximately 50 residency positions.
