Support New Lanark Trust by leaving a legacy gift in your will
As a registered charity, leaving a gift to New Lanark Trust can prove extremely tax-efficient. It doesn’t have to be complicated:
1. Decide what kind of legacy you’d like to leave: a pecuniary legacy is a fixed sum of money; a residuary legacy is a percentage of your residual estate, after expenses and personal bequests; a specific legacy is a specific item such as heritage artefacts.
2. State in your will that you would like to leave a gift to us. We recommend using a solicitor or professional will-writer to make sure your will is legal and valid.
3. Include our full name, to make sure the gift goes to the right place: New Lanark Trust (SC008552), New Lanark Mills, Lanark, ML11 9DB
4. If you have already written us into your will, we’re very grateful. Please let us know, so we can thank you personally and appropriately.
