Bachelor’s Degrees
Bachelor of Science Degree Program
Students may earn their bachelor’s degree on campus or online at the speed that works for their lifestyle. Our instructors bring real-world experience to the classroom so students graduate with more than just their bachelors degree and have tangible strategies for succeeding in the workforce.
Bachelor Degree Overview
We offer two types of bachelor’s degree programs. The Lower Division Support Courses supply students with admission prerequisites for all majors. The Upper Division 18-Month Programs provide students with the opportunity to complete their Bachelor of Science degree in health information, technology and cyber security.
Within each degree program, a common core of courses provides a solid foundation for work in that field. This core is complemented by a series of courses in specialized areas to enable each student to pursue a program of studies that will provide enhanced professional and personal growth.
Degree Programs
We offer the following bachelor’s degree programs.
Bachelor of Science in Accounting*
The Bachelor’s in Accounting is a robust program with courses designed to give students a competitive edge with real life skills for a variety of accounting roles.
Bachelor of Science in Business
Our business degree will provide a broad foundation covering the major functional areas in business: accounting and finance, business management, marketing and operations.
Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Policy*
Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Policy program prepares students for a career fighting “cybercrime” and protecting digital resources from hacking, fraud, and malware viruses.
Bachelor of Science in International Business*
The Bachelor of Science degree in International Business prepares students with fundamental managerial skills to succeed in a global business environment.
Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development
The Early Childhood Development program teaches early childhood developmental needs to adequately prepare future educators to become effective teachers.
Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Technology*
This program includes instruction in Geospatial principles and theory of Spatial Thinking as well as understanding of Remote Sensing, Cartography and Geospatial Modeling.
Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management
The bachelor’s in health information prepares individuals with a solid foundation in computer information systems and technology for healthcare organizations.
Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management
Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management prepares students for the dynamic and increasingly global hospitality and tourism industry.
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
The Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology prepares students for entry-level positions in information technology.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
The Bachelor in Computer Science degree prepares individuals to plan, optimize, design, and build computer software and hardware systems.
Bachelor of Science in Government Contract Management*
Potomac is one of the very few schools that provides this specialized program of study for government positions as well as private business and nonprofit positions.
Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice*
Criminal Justice (BSCJ) provides interested professionals the opportunity
to be part of the solutions that professionals in the criminal justice field.
Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics and Management*
Data Analytics and Management program is to
prepare students to excel as leaders at the intersection of data and business
