Character and personal growth are an integral part of a Berkeley Hall education. We know your child is much more than grades and test scores! That's why we're inviting your child to take The Character Skills Snapshot as part of their application. It will give us richer holistic information about your child and show us areas where our community can help them grow, thrive, and shine.
The Character Skills Snapshot is optional and is for applicants to Grades 6-8 only.

How much does the CSS cost?
The fee to take the Character Skills Snapshot is $60.
Families applying for Financial Aid will receive a fee waiver code via email. If you have questions about the fee waiver, please email admissions@berkeleyhall.org.
What’s involved in taking the CSS?
Your child takes the Snapshot at home, online, at any time that’s convenient for them. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. The Snapshot is accessed via a link emailed to the parents after registering.
How do we send the Snapshot report to Berkeley Hall?
Within two weeks of your child taking the Snapshot, parents will receive notice that their child’s report has been posted. Parents must then release the report to Berkeley Hall.
Berkeley Hall’s CSS code is 1597.
You cannot choose Berkeley Hall as a recipient prior to your receiving the report. For detailed instructions on how to send the report,
