Library & Archive
BUP Library and Archive started with approx 500 books in 2010 with a room space of 200 square-feet on the 3rd floor of MIST Administrative Building. At present the library is fully air-conditioned with a floor space of approx 8090 square-feet after two times expansion in 2018 and 2021, equipped with all learning amenities and is striving to utilize cutting-edge technology as well as to incorporate world famous electronic scholarly assets. As of December 2025, the library has a collection of mostly department related 31000 books and 6948 journals/magazines. The library users are personally able to do check-out and check-in through RFID based library management system. Besides having a cyber corner, users are also being provided with off-campus facilities, namely E-Subscription Knimbus (RemoteXs) to browse 12 international E-resources links. Services are being constantly monitored, checked and appropriately ensured.

Facilities
Access and Facilities
All students, teachers, officers and employees with valid BUP ID card are considered to be the member and are eligible to receive all facilities of the library (BUP Central Library and Archive Policy-2018). The facilities are:
a. Book issue.
b. Reading facility.
c. Reading of thesis paper.
d. Cyber Center.
e. E-Subscription Knimbus (RemoteXs) facility during off campus hours.
f. Reading Newspapers.
g. Journal/Magazine.
Library Automation and Digitization
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) based library management system provides the following: detail information on library collection, books issue, E-mail notification, penalty and anti-theft detection.
Under digital platform the library has 12 full functional electronic links as well as E-Subscription Knimbus (RemoteXs) facility.
