Overview
Established in 2013, the English department offers a multidisciplinary U.G programme focused on Literature, Communication and Journalism.  Formulation of the triple main course resulted from the demand for a job-oriented programme which enables students to gain knowledge and transferrable skills in Language and Literature, Journalism, and Communication. The programme—a combination 29 core courses, 6 non credit courses, an open course, and an internship—helps in the acquisition of domain knowledge, life skills, and career-related skills. The Outcome-based teaching method equips students with the skillsets needed in the three domains.
