Health and Wellness Services
University Health and Wellness is a health-care partnership between Christopher Newport and Riverside Health, one of the region’s largest health-care providers.
We support the academic and personal success and well-being of students, faculty and staff by fostering awareness, attitudes and behaviors that promote active learning and healthy living.
Our on-campus registered nurses, nurse practitioners and Riverside Family Medicine physicians provide a variety of services and educational programs for the Christopher Newport community.
After hours/weekends, call (757) 595–6363 and ask to speak to the Riverside Nurse. Riverside Health provides this service to the local community, and uses advanced telephone triage protocols in order to help you access the appropriate medical care.
