Women own or co-own 45% of all businesses in the United States. Ascent is a free learning platform launched by the Small Business Administration for women entrepreneurs.
The mission of BRITE Center is to cultivate and assist small businesses involved in innovation or technology, and those with potential for exporting, to generate economic prosperity. Key activities include delivering high-level advising and educational programs, collaborating with partners, and serving as a conduit to resources and capital.
The Kansas SBDC at Emporia State University provides no-cost, confidential, one-on-one advising services to entrepreneurs and small businesses. It also offers low-cost or no-cost workshops on a variety of business topics.
From starting a small business to expanding an existing one, SBA's digital learning platform has everything needed to learn about entrepreneurial best practices and available financing options.
