Strathnaver Museum are embarking on a community research project to gather the stories about the men and women from Mackay Country who took part in WWI but we need
your help
to discover the stories behind the names. Did you have a relative who was involved in the First World War? We would love to hear from you and learn more about their story.
If you have information and photographs of anyone in your family who served during WWI please email Eileen Mackay on
genealogy@strathnavermuseum.org.uk
. The information gathered will form a database and photograph album to be placed in our archive and be available to everyone for generations to come.
