A College You Can Call Home
Whether you struggled in a traditional school environment or just needed a different kind of challenge, you are not alone. Many Beacon College undergraduates have diverse and nontraditional educational histories, and you will find a welcome home in our community.
Like everything we do at Beacon, our Office of Admissions takes a highly personalized approach to evaluating your candidacy for admission. Your application is more than a transcript or a diagnosis to us — we look at each student’s persistence, intelligence, maturity, and potential for growth.

Intellectual challenge is at the heart of a Beacon education, but transferring these skills to a career is even more important. Our nine bachelor’s degree programs are intended to prepare our students to find worthy work in today’s global marketplace. Additionally, we encourage students to explore their diverse interests through one or more of our 17 minors.

College Readiness
Homeschooled students who learn differently often don’t have access to expert college counseling services — or they may benefit from additional transition planning for the social and emotional demands of on-campus life.
Life at Beacon
College life goes beyond academics. Our new student orientation, club fairs, and Office of Student Engagement help you become a part of the community — from clubs and activities to residence life, athletics, and more! Beacon’s community values permeate all areas of campus in order to help students achieve at their highest level, both in and out of the classroom.
