As per the directions of UGC, Internal committee has been constituted. The role of the committee would be to ensure that officials/faculty members desist from any act of discrimination against SC/ST students on grounds of their social origin. They would need to understand the terms of the letter from UGC in word and spirit and initiate continuous actions to ensure that no official or faculty members indulge in any kind of discrimination against any community or category of students . Sensitizing officials/faculty members of our campus while dealing with cases of caste based discrimination would also be the responsibility of the committee.
Time bound and required actions would need to be initiated whenever necessary.
