Degrees at EU Business School
At EU Business School, we offer state-recognized university degrees from the U.K. and Ireland as well as university-specific degrees
(título propio)
issued by two Spanish universities. These university titles are highly regarded by industry and open doors to successful careers in business around the world.
1. State-recognized University Degrees
State-recognized university degrees are acknowledged by the State. As well as offering professional opportunities in business, state-recognized degrees are recommended for students who wish to pursue graduate and post-graduate studies in public universities and/or work in the public sector.
EU Business School is proud to offer state-recognized bachelor’s degrees from University of Derby, U.K.; state-recognized bachelor’s, master’s and MBA degrees from London Metropolitan University, U.K.; and state-recognized Dublin Business School bachelor’s and MBA degrees, both of which are awarded by Quality and Qualifications, Ireland.
U.K. state-recognized university degrees:
U.K. state-recognized university degrees are acknowledged by the state, recognized by the U.K. government’s higher educational authorities. They are audited by the
Quality Assurance Agency (QAA)
, the official quality assurance body for the Office of Students (OfS), the regulator for higher education in England.
Irish state-recognized university degrees:
The Dublin Business School state-recognized degrees are fully accredited by the Irish government through
Quality and Qualification Ireland (QQI)
, the accrediting body of the Irish government,
www.qqi.ie
. Degrees meet the requirements of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
2. Spanish University Degrees
In the Spanish education system universities offer two types of degrees: official degrees
(título oficial)
and university-specific degrees
(título propio)
.
A
título oficial university degree
follows a set state-approved syllabus and structure and is often more theoretical and based on the critical-thinking learning approach. This is recommended for students wishing to pursue graduate and post-graduate studies in public universities and/or work in the public sector. It is approved by the Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación (ANECA), the national agency for quality and accreditation in Spain, and is homologated in the EHEA (European Higher Education Area).
A
university-specific degree (
título propio
)
follows a syllabus and course structure designed by the university to be aligned with industry needs. It usually applies a hands-on and pragmatic learning approach and is taught by working professionals to give further insights into industry. Universities are authorized by law to design and offer these degrees.
At EU we offer university-specific degrees (
titulo propios
) at the bachelor's, master’s and MBA level awarded by Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central De Catalunya (UVic-UCC). UVic-UCC is a state-recognized university in Spain, officially authorized to accredit higher educational qualifications.
At the bachelor’s and MBA level, students have the opportunity to earn a U.K. state-recognized degree as well as their título propio.
