Arab American Heritage Month
Born in Boston, Lebanese American artist Kahlil G. Gibran (1922–2008), cousin and godson of the famed writer, studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and was a fixture of the South End’s mid-century artistic community. For his
Bouquet
(1963), Gibran hammered the steel lilies by hand and welded and weathered them with a blowtorch into a permanently downcast and withering position.
Celebrate National Arab American Heritage Month with a visit to the exhibition

to see
Bouquet
and stop by our
