Depression is a mental illness, which one should not confuse with the short-term emotional distress, anxiety attacks or feeling low, which also are constituents of depression.

We approach clients with depression through various routes at one time to make the treatment effective, and help clients recover from their disruptive mental state sooner.
First of all, we listen, understand, analyze and evaluate the problems of the client through verbal counselling sessions, and then categorize the depression level medically to define the treatment path to follow.

As a community mental health center, Northeastern Center provides comprehensive mental health services, including outpatient therapy and medication management, substance use treatment, adult residential homes, inpatient services, 24/7 crisis services and more. With 12 locations across DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties, it has served northeast Indiana since 1977.
