What People Are Saying
“Scattergood provided a space where I could learn and grow both academically and personally without the social pressures and rigid structure present in my public school system. Learning happened outside of the classroom just as much as within it, maybe more, which meant I could really engage with the content and collaborate with my peers and teachers.
-Alumni
“Sending our child to Scattergood Friends School as a day student has proven to be the best parental decision we have ever made. I’m not sure what I value the most — the individualized and rigorous college-prep education, the strong emphasis on personal responsibility and the intrinsic value of work, or the lived experience of being a member of an egalitarian and mutually-supportive community in which every individual is truly seen and valued — but the overall effect can be described in just one word: blossoming. In short, I feel very strongly that when a fourteen year old says that they “love” school, something very special is underway. In in our family’s case that something special is SFS!!”
