How To Apply
ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADMISSIONS INTO THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION OF THE UNIVERSITY ON THE NIGER, UMUNYA, ANAMBRA STATE
This is to inform the general public that application for admission into various Faculties of the University will commence on 26th May, 2025. The University on the Niger is located at the permanent site, Km 13 Onitsha-Enugu Expressway, Umunya, Anambra State and the Iyienu Campus is at the University on the Niger teaching Hospital, Iyienu Ogidi, Anambra State. The University has the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC). And our Courses has been accredited by various Professional Bodies in Nigeria.
T
o qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates must possess at least
five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
Prospective candidates must have sat and obtained a minimum score of
150
in the 2025 JAMB University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Such candidates must also effect ‘Change of Institution/Course’ to the University on the Niger on the JAMB Portal.
During registration, candidates are advised to use emails and GSM numbers that are easily accessible to them. This is important for fast and easy communication.
Candidates should note that at any point of the screening and admission exercise, if any false information is discovered/noticed, such candidate’s application would be automatically disqualified.
MODE OF PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000 only.
To register, follow the steps outlined below:

, complete the mini-Form there and Click “Pay” to pay the Application fee of N2,000. You will be redirected to Paystack Payment Gateway to complete the payment.

Note: The email you fill in here must be a valid email you have access to, as further information will be sent to you via the email. Also, your JAMB number becomes your password.
Visit portal.uniniger.edu.ng/applicant, click on “Applicant Information” to complete the Form and upload your Passport Photo, O’level and JAMB Results.

MODE OF SCREENING
The screening mode for the 2025/2026 academic session PUTME shall be through the process of assessment of JAMB UTME result and verified O’Level result. All candidates are requested to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
