A great support system is good medicine. When you visit your loved ones in the hospital, you lift their spirits and support their healing, too. That’s why we welcome visitors at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook and strive to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Our Bolingbrook hospital visiting hours are every day from 8 am to 8 pm, unless otherwise noted

General Visiting Guidelines
Visiting hours are 8 am to 8 pm daily.
All visitors are to enter the main entrance and check in with the front desk.
Minor visitors under 16 years of age shall be accompanied by an adult, other than the patient, at all times. No visitors under 12 years of age in ICU.
All visitors are expected to comply with hand hygiene. Visitors should not visit if they have any symptoms of respiratory or other viral illness, as well as those who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
An overnight visitor is allowed on a case-by-case basis.
The number of visitors may be subject to a reasonable rotation based on the patient’s clinical condition and/or the facility’s space limitations.

Women and Children Unit
Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit
Please check with the above units for their visitor guidelines.
Please note that smoking and vaping are not allowed at any of our facilities.

Café Route 66
Café Route 66 is the UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook cafeteria. It is located on the main floor and serves healthy vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare.

Monday through Friday, 11 am to 2 pm

Brewed Awakenings Café
For coffee and lighter fare, visit Brewed Awakenings. Located off the main lobby, Brewed Awakenings offers specialty coffees, sandwiches and fresh pastries.

A 24-hour vending area is located in the emergency room lobby.
Gift Shop
You can purchase toiletries, gifts, greeting cards and more in the UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook gift shop on the first floor, adjacent to our Brewed Awakenings café, which sells snacks, sandwiches and beverages.

Valet Service
Complimentary valet parking is accessible via the hospital’s main entrance from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Valet parking is not available on Saturday and Sunday.
Transportation
If you or a loved one needs wheelchair-accessible transportation, UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook operates a fleet of wheelchair-accessible courtesy vans. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and can be made up to one week before your appointment date. Please be available for pickup 90 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Spiritual Care
Many people benefit from spiritual support when they or a loved one is in the hospital. Rest assured that we’re here for you with spiritual and emotional support when a patient you care about is distressed or when family members are concerned.
Patients and their families may request a visit from the chaplain at any time during their stay. UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook chaplains are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To request a chaplain visit, ask your nurse for assistance or call
