Two levels of care: partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) with daytime hospital and group treatment
Programming is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm
Treats adolescents ages 13 to 18 who are still in high school (voluntary basis)
Adolescents must be able to maintain personal safety and safety within the group
Under the care of a psychiatrist or an advanced practice nurse (weekly visits during programming)
Full-time teacher on staff to address academic needs
Weekly virtual family education/support
Treatment includes family meetings and academic coordination and is based on a cognitive-behavioral model

Treats adults ages 18 and up (voluntary basis)
Required evening virtual programming is Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8:30 pm
Required daily 12-step meeting attendance
Required abstinence from all mood-altering substances
Treatment includes random urine drug screens and daily breathalyzer tests
Adults must be able to maintain personal safety and safety within the group
Under the care of an addictionologist, psychiatrist or advanced practice nurse
Treatment is based on the 12-step and cognitive-behavioral models
Medically Assisted Detox Program
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks offers specialized inpatient services for substance use disorders. When you arrive at the beginning phase of recovery, we can treat your detox and medical needs and provide the expert guidance and support you need to continue your recovery.

We’re committed to improving our communities’ mental health by making services more accessible. UChicago Medicine AdventHealth uses the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) to expand access to behavioral health services and provide timely care.
Features of the CoCM include:
A depression screening included during digital pre-registration for primary care visits
Patients can get access to behavioral health care in less than 24 hours
Continued expansion across the organization with high levels of patient success
For access to the Collaborative Care behavioral health program, please schedule an appointment through your UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group primary care provider, OB/GYN or pediatrician.
