We were honoured to host 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕. 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐈𝐒𝐑𝐎 & 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐭. 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐀𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐥, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐋𝐏𝐒𝐂, 𝐈𝐒𝐑𝐎, at SSSIHL on 4 September 2025.
The Institute, run by the Trust, has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as a ‘Deemed to be University’. It has a merit-based open admissions policy for all, irrespective of economic background, religion or region. Contributions to the Deemed to be University enjoy
exemption under Section
Section 80G(2)(a)(iiif) of the IT Act, 1961
. SSSIHL has also been registered for undertaking CSR activities and the Registration number is
CSR00060508
.
In line with the vision of the Revered Founder Chancellor, all research at SSSIHL is needs-based, and therefore helps alleviate problems affecting the poorer sections of society, ultimately leading to societal benefit.
