Who can receive mail/packages at PawPost?
Wingate University PawPost is located on the corner of North Wilson and Main Street across from the Pizza Hut. Packages can be picked up, with ID, between the hours of 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Mail can be picked up between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is time allotted to process the mail.
In some cases, the notification you received indicates that the package was received by PawPost but has not been processed internally. When your mail item has been processed by Wingate PawPost, you will receive an automated email letting you know your package is ready for pickup.
Delays are caused most commonly by wrong addressing, such as not listing the students (full) name, residence hall (dorm) or room number correctly. If you are expecting something and have not received it after a few days let the PawPost know and we will do periodic searches for it. Providing a tracking number can help us locate your package.

Only Wingate University students, faculty and staff may receive mail at PawPost. For instance, you cannot have something mailed to PawPost with a non-Wingate student/employee name as the recipient.

Using the above address format and information will help the PawPost team direct mail in the most accurate and timely manner.
Mail received without a proper address or identification may be delayed or returned to sender.
Outside couriers such as FedEx and UPS may deliver directly to specified buildings if the physical address is provided and the building is accessible by a delivery vehicle. PawPost is not responsible for ensuring the delivery of those packages. So, for the most reliable and timely delivery, use the address above.
Incoming mail and packages that arrive at PawPost will be delivered weekdays to campus mail stops, except for those departments which have requested that it be held at PawPost.
If a package addressed to you and delivered to PawPost is too large for the University delivery vehicle, you will be notified via email to pick up the package at PawPost.
Beginning in January 2023, if your department is using 24/7 PawPost locker pick-up you will receive an email with a QR code when your mail or package is ready. Bring the QR code to the 24/7 locker room at the left entrance of the building within two days and scan it to open your locker and retrieve your mail.
Mail/Package Pick-up
Beginning Monday, June 5, to help reduce expenses, the University will no longer offer pickup or delivery of mail and packages to campus buildings. Instead, employees who receive items at the Pawpost facility on the corner of Main and Wilson streets will be notified via email and will be able to pick them up on weekdays at the back door street entrance from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. or the main entrance between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. or from a PawPost locker. (The lockers are accessible 24/7, and can be opened by scanning your Wingate ID). This change in service applies to both outside and interdepartmental mail.
Employees who would like to ensure that items they order can be delivered by the company directly to their buildings should use the University’s preferred vendor list, which includes Staples and FSI for office supplies. FedEx and UPS are typically able to deliver direct to buildings as long as precise addresses are provided. Here are
