Friends of the CCNY Libraries
The purpose of the Friends of the Libraries program is to
Encourage gifts, endowments, bequests & donations of appropriate materials to strengthen the collections.
Support the services, facilities and activities of the Libraries.
Sponsor activities and events that promote knowledge of, and interest in, the Libraries.
Promote the relationship between the College, the Libraries, and the community.
Become a Friend of CCNY Libraries
Becoming a Friend of the Libraries is easy! Membership benefits vary by donation:
$40 = Intersession (access to the Libraries during winter and summer sessions)
$100 = Associate (access to the Libraries year-round)
$250 = Partner (all of the above and your name on the Library Wall of Honor)
$500 = Sustainer (all of the above and borrowing privileges)

Friends of the Libraries membership form
Library Access for Friends of the Libraries
Access to library study space in all CCNY Libraries.
Access to the internet through the libraries' public computers; no visitor logins are available.
Access to the print books and print journal collection for on-site use.
Access to most databases on-site through library computers.
Research support from qualified reference librarians.
Book sale access. The book sale takes place in the fall and spring semesters in Cohen Library.
Borrowing privileges at the higher membership rate allow Friends to borrow books from City College only (not other CUNY colleges).
